**Customs Duties, Import Fees, and Customer Responsibilities**
FOGST Labs ships internationally to select countries. Shipping costs, customs duties, import fees, taxes, and any other applicable charges are the customer’s responsibility. These charges are not included in the total purchase price at checkout, and FOGST Labs will not cover these fees.
It is the customer's responsibility to verify with their local customs office whether the product can be lawfully imported into their country and to ensure compliance with all local regulations. FOGST Labs will not be responsible for any customs-related delays or fees. If a package is held by customs or other regulatory bodies, it is the customer's responsibility to resolve the matter. FOGST Labs may offer assistance, but we will not be liable for additional costs or delays caused by customs inspections or refusals.
If a customer refuses to pay the import fees and the order is returned to us, we will deduct the full shipping costs to the customer’s address, the return shipment costs, and an additional 20% restocking and handling fee. Any refunds in these cases are at our sole discretion.
**Responsibility for the Package**
FOGST Labs is responsible for your order until it reaches your country’s customs facility. Once the package arrives and is under the authority of customs or the local courier service, the responsibility shifts to the customer. Any delays, additional fees, or issues caused by customs inspections, regulatory holds, or local courier services are outside our control. We will provide assistance in trying to resolve the situation by communicating with customs or the shipping carrier on your behalf.
**Refusal to Pay Customs Fees and Refused Shipments**
If a customer refuses to pay customs duties or other fees, and the package is returned to FOGST Labs, we reserve the right to deduct the shipping costs (to and from the destination) and a 20% handling and legal fee before processing any refunds. Refunds in these cases are solely at our discretion, and we may choose to offer partial or no refunds depending on the situation.
**Damaged Packages**
We encourage customers to inspect their packages upon receipt. If you receive a damaged package, contact our customer support team immediately. We will provide a replacement as long as the warranty stickers have not been removed. Once the warranty stickers are removed, FOGST Labs will not provide a free replacement for damaged or defective items post-inspection.
**Warranty Voidance Due to Tape Removal**
Upon receiving your order, please carefully inspect all components—including glass, connectors, and other parts—before removing the warranty tape. Once the warranty tape is removed, your warranty will be voided, and we will not provide free replacements or refunds for broken or defective items. If a package arrives damaged and the warranty tape is still intact, please contact us for a replacement.
**Email Updates and Checking Spam**
We will send regular updates on your order status, including shipment information, via email. We strongly advise checking your inbox and spam folders frequently to stay informed. FOGST Labs is not responsible for missed notifications due to email filters or customer oversight.
